A serial entrepreneur, Ted has been involved in the games industry for over 14 years, with experience in multiple disciplines spanning art, software engineering, game design and business development. Prior to starting GFG, the bulk of Ted’s experience was at EA Canada and EA BlackBox that focused on Technical Art and content pipelines for award-winning franchises including EA Sports NHL, EA Sports Triple Play Baseball, SSX Tricky, and EA Sports Online. Ted was the principal architect in development and deployment of a unique successful knowledge sharing system, spanning all EA studios worldwide. As the Founder & CEO, Ted will apply his diverse skill set to building a strong, coordinated team of creative specialists from each discipline that will release AAA games on mobile platforms.

Simon Anderson-Carr
Chief Visual Officer
Simon Anderson-Carr originally joined Genius Factor Games in the role of Concept Artist and now serves as the company’s Art Director after spending many years as a freelance artist and designer. Simon’s background is in the publishing and advertising industries where he successfully completed various projects such as cover illustrations, portraits, interior and poster art, logo and layout design. Creating powerful and dynamic images with movement, solid design and striking colours is something Simon strive’s for in every piece of work he completes.

Strategic Marketing & Business Development
Ken is a strategic marketing specialist with a broad spectrum of industry applications for over 21 years of independent strategic marketing consultation. He is a principal of Pharos Business Mentors Inc., which was established in 2007, incorporating his wide range of skills and experience into a vital new entity.

His primary role focused on the development of business strategies for a wide range of business sectors. These strategies include preparation of highly tuned business plans targeted for specific end users which have been applied as inclusions in prospectuses; funding applications to financial institutions and sourcing of Federal, Provincial and private grants and subsidies.

Ken has over 38 years of national Marketing, corporate planning and communications experience including government, media, and public relations. The spectrum of his experience runs from field sales promotions to product management to corporate shareholder and stakeholder relations including detailed experience in all facets of electronic and print media. He is a strategic market consultant and an experienced speaker, trainer, and workshop facilitator. Including GFG, his clients include major natural resource companies, retailers, manufacturers, service companies, utilities, associations, and Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments.

Bradley Herbert, Bradley Herbert HR Consulting
Talent Development & HR Advisor
BRAD HERBERT has been an HR professional since 1992 specializing in fast-growth, global, entrepreneurial companies. As an executive with Electronic Arts, he l ed all global talent development and organized excellence programmers, and as the VP of HR for the worldwide studio system he was accountable for all HR programs for 14 studios in 6 countries, 5,400 employees, and 60 HR employees. He has held HR Generalist and Compensation/Benefits/Mobility roles at Electronic Arts, Netscape Communications, and Amdahl Corporation. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an HR specialization from Michigan State University, and is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

Bryan has been formulating and executing strategic marketing programs for over 10 years, working with major brands like Intuit, Sierra Wireless, Intrawest, GlaxoSmithKline, General Motors, and many others. He has served as Senior Digital Marketing Strategist with TELUS, Western Canada’s largest telecommunications company, and later joined Lush Cosmetics as Internet Marketing Manager and North American Marketing Manager. A former board member of the International Internet Marketing Association, Bryan has also been a featured speaker at a variety of marketing industry events, has taught several educational programs, and has been recognized with numerous regional and national marketing awards.
